The electrical cord could be longer, but it is adequate (Why don't the manufacturers make them longer to iron in the lounge when the cord is usually plugged in at ground level?). Once upon a time I might have baulked at that price. I especially like the auto-off function so, I bought this iron because it was recommended by a friend who knew many others who were happy with it and had been using it for about a year.
